This is an innovative restorative type of class designed to open you up from the
inside out. Be prepared for deep tissue release work, using small rubber therapy balls to liberate fascial adhesions, trigger points, or areas congested and weak from scar tissue. Tending to those parts that may be underused, overused, misused, and abused. This is a time to explore, investigate, discover and embody. Leave feeling more ease, increased flexibility, and a reservoir of power for your asana classes.
This class is designed for participants looking for modified, supported, gentle flow yoga yoga class. This class will be more basic in nature, postures will be more foundational with emphasis on breath, alignment, and unwinding tension. Typically classes will end with a few restorative postures. Appropriate for all ages and abilities.
Gentle Vinyasa into Yin
This class is a blend of a creative hatha flow followed by a series of longer held yin style poses. We will warm up and open the body with breath to movement so that there is a greater ease when we move to yin where we tap into our "edge". The yin portion is designed to lubricate and lengthen the connective tissues and joints while also working with the internal methods of the mind and breath work.
A safe space is created for internal reflection, playful expression and heart centered awareness. An integrative approach is offered to bring the soul back into the body for an embodied experience.

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness, known as a Raja yoga. There are so many preconceived notions about what Kundalini yoga is and judgments about it. This class serves to awaken the energy centers in the body in gentle ways, blending strengthening and energizing breath and physical movements with meditative and contemplative “Kriyas” in a way that enliven the body, balance the mind and the nervous system and bring us into wholeness. We move from a sensation of embodiment, to go within, to move at your own pace and cultivate the awareness of listening to what you need in each moment, to act from that innate inner wisdom. We are seeped in the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, but from a modern perspective adhering to the needs of each student in the room. KUNDALINI EMBODIED YOGA
Vinyoga inspired practice in which asana is performed as a gateway to increase mindfulness of breath. Intentional focus on asana function over form allows the practitioner to feel from the inside how the body is responding thus increasing movement potential. Adaptations of classical postures are performed with self awareness, interiorizing one's attention and breaking the cycle of mechanical and repetitive actions. MOVING WITH BREATH
Medical Qi gong is an ancient form of Chinese energetic medicine, and is one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical massage. It is a complete system of health care that recognizes the root causes of symptoms or disease, and treats the client as a whole. Practiced as an excellent adjunct to Western medicine, Chinese medicine may successfully treat people with conditions which Western medicine finds resistant or ambiguous.
Disruptions in the electromagnetic energy of the body occur throughout our lifetime as a result of poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, injuries, surgery, suppression of emotions, and aging.
The goal of qi gong is to correct these bio-energetic imbalances and blockages. This enables the body to strengthen and regulate the internal organs, the nervous system and the immune system, relieve pain, regulate hormones, and strengthen and release deep-seated emotions and stress.

Yoga Sound Lab, we will explore sound in ways that connect us with the essence of our conscious experience. Through a diverse set of practices, we will draw our awareness to this present moment as we work to both create and receive sound that aligns us with our true nature. This class will weave together gentle and dynamic movement practice, breathwork, mantra, meditation, and sound to create a deep space where we may realize a state of peace with ourselves and the world.
Often referred as "Yogic Sleep" this is a 4000 year old guided mediation technique that leads to a deep and exquisite state of rest where the body and mind can restore and rejuvenate. Yoga Nidra involves a sequence of deeply relaxing restorative postures, followed by guided mediation designed to balance, calm, and repair. The experience moves through the conscious mind into the sub-conscious to affect positive change and healing through deep relaxation, resolve, and meditation.
